My experience was in Comer, GA. It's 15 miles south of Carnesville. I was hunting on a property that I had leased. It was around 6 pm in the evening just before dark. I had shot a beautiful 8 point buck. I climbed down from my stand and walked the 60 yards down to him. When I got there I got on one knee and thanked the Lord for the deer to nurture my family. As soon as I finished my prayer, the most intense smell of rotten eggs were all around me. Then

I felt a cold that was so intense it burned. I don't remember anything for the next 9 hours.
When I woke up I was somehow back in my stand. My

right eye was bleeding but had no sign of a cut. And I have a blistering mark on both sides of my neck. I was very weak as I got down from my stand. I looked for the deer that I shot, and it was gone. Made it back to my truck and went home. This all happened September 25th, 2013. I have not been back there or hunting since. I have not had any other experience at all. I do still have the burn scars on my neck but my eye seems fine. If anyone has any
