Cat scratch house on S Prospect is crazy. I don't know if it's still there or not, but that and Smiths chapel which unfortunately got burned down were places of my nightmares.

I grew up in Carrollton on River Valley Drive. My dad built our house when I was 6. I have seen from 6 years old to 22 in the 1990s when I left. Windows would be unlocked on their own and raised by themselves. I heard footsteps when no one was walking around. The cement block wall in basement caught on fire (just this, and around it). I heard baby cries in the basement and saw black figures.

We have had things moved around. The radios would come on and turn up themselves. There were footsteps on the roof and knocking on doors from inside empty rooms lights flickered (wiring was fine. It was inspected.) even with new bulbs. Doors slammed by themselves. There were voices banging on windows when no one was on other side. Things were also flying off walls.

It wasn't just us in the house that experienced all of this. Over 50 people had experiences here. Many refused to come back afterwards. Most of the stuff happened during the day. It also wasn't just in the house but all over the property. You would hear gunshots near you (like within a few feet) outside. Sometimes you could feel someone brush past you and hear the footsteps of it. My friends all were convinced that maybe a Civil War battle took place there.
