I live at Mandeville Lofts in Carrollton GA, and there are plenty of poltergeist stories. One particular one is that I was sitting in the kitchen when I heard the faint sound of music - the Nutcracker theme - coming from the first room. My cat immediately got up and sat in front of me and stared down the hall for a full 10 minutes as we both listened to the sounds of things falling over furniture being pushed and the faint sound of music.
After it all stopped the cat would not go down the hallway until after I went first. I walked toward the room and hit a sudden cold spot just before the doorway. The cat must have felt it in the same spot because when she got to that point she stood and shivered. I opened up the door to the front room, and nothing was out of place not even one book. Everything was as it had been set up. Weird story one of a few.
