I have a friend who was taking her prom pictures in front of the Gordon Lee Mansion . When the pictures were done I was going through the printed copies to find a German Shepherd dog in the one of the windows.
The mansion has rules that no pets are allowed .... This shocked me. It was plain as day. She went to see the owners of the mansion if the Gordon residence had a dog when they lived there. The owners said yes, a German Shepherd.

In the 60's 4 of us were riding through the park on the way to a football game about dusk. We were on the road near the tower when a tall skinny man dirty with tan clothes and long dark hair jumped in front of our car.
He turned and lunged in front of our car with his arms raised and mouth open. And yes he did have fangs. We ran off the road to keep from hitting him. He did not try to move out of the way. We were all shaking afterwards.
