I grew up in Dry Branch. Not a lot to it except for a few churches, stores, and houses. We do have a post office and there was a school but it closed down years ago. I've seen a few freaky things around where I grew up but nothing too bad.
There's a lot of old cemeteries back in the woods so you're bound to see something late at night. A friend of mine told me he and his dad saw a woman walking across an old dirt road not far from a long forgotten

He said the woman had a long flowing old fashioned dress and as they drove closer to her she disappeared. There's a an

old story my granddad used to tell me about a pot of gold that was buried in a cemetery and the only time you can dig it up is at midnight.
I've heard a million of 'em lol.... There's a lot of history in Dry Branch and Twiggs county for that matter. So I wouldn't be too surprised if you ran into someone or something late at night...
