I have been to Tilly Bench during the day and heard footsteps inside the church.

My friend and I went to the Apple Festival 2015. Once we finished up there we decided to explore the vendors in the town square of Ellijay. We noticed the beautiful city cemetery and proceeded to drive up to admire the view from the higher elevation. We stood in front of a grave that had a beautifully engraved vine on the stone. We heard a disembodied male voice. It was a deep voice, but we could not understood what was said. We saw nothing but decided to leave. As exciting as it was it was also unsettling. We didn't look at the stone to see the name.

Me and my two friends were trying to find Tilly Bend Church, yet something or someone would not permit our passage to the church. We've tried twice now and have even been redirected somehow and mysteriously lost 5 min of time...

Comment by Chassady: I live near Tilly Bend and if you go at night and knock be prepared to run.
Comment by Christy: I went with my children up to the Tilley Bend Church. They were having service, but afterwards the pastor came out and asked if we were looking for the gravestone of the witch. Embarrassed I said yes, and he pointed to the woods and said, ''Vandals had destroyed it years ago.'' He said for a while him and his daughters would wait for people to come up there, and they would open the church doors and she would be standing there in a long white dress. He said it was a great prank until the police showed up looking for a dead body, lol. He also told us to start a rumor about alien abductions up there, so that when the rumor got back to him. He would know it was us. He was great.
