I had an old man tell me one time that many years ago a small child got away form it's parents without them knowing about it and got ran over while playing in a road near the house. A lady was driving a car and did not see the tot size child until it was too late to stop.
The ghost of the little girl with curls of blonde can still be seen at times playing next to the road. This little ghost is always humming to herself and picking up small pebbles. I thought that it was such a cute ghost story that I wanted to share it with others to enjoy.

My dad says that Ellabell used to be haunted by a flock of bluebirds. He says that for some strange reason they do not do haunt it yearly. But they can be seen after an ice storm if there has been a lot of tree damage done by it.
He says that the ghostly bluebirds were probably caught up in an ice storm one time and froze to death. When he was a boy he saw them one time. He says that his uncle Oscar saw the bluebirds one time when they landed on the statue of an angel.
