I lived in the old Wade house (circa 1884) for several years. Every night something would walk across the attic floor at 1:11 a.m. I went up to investigate and noticed that the previous owners had kept dogs in the attic. There were literally leashes attached to dog collars around attic supports. The neighbors next door wouldn't step foot on my property claiming there were ''haints.'' The neighbor across the street said that a ghost named Alfred lived in the

front bedroom. My infant son woke us up one night screaming. We went to investigate. He never slept in his crib again. He insisted on sleeping on the
|
floor near his crib. He was too young to communicate why. There were lots of strange things that went down at that house. While ascending a ladder on the roof in 2014 the ladder suddenly slipped. I broke my wrist after hitting the ground. A few months later the house burned down after the dryer suddenly blew up. It is no longer inhabitable. The house was on Fairview Road.
