I was stationed at Fort Benning in GA during the fall of 1998. I was in airborne school at the time. A group of buddies got together, and we went to Atlanta for a Metallica concert. After a night of being up watching a concert, I received a call and had forgotten that I had 24-hour fire watch that Saturday. Tired and without sleep, we drove back in time for me to make my shift.
The day went well, but I was super tired by 4 a.m. I was in barracks on

the third floor hall, and from the end of the hallway a soldier in BDU's came out from the second to last room. He went to the window and peered out the

window for almost 5 minutes. He turned and walked back into the room. From the other end of the hall I had said ''good morning'' but got no response. Feeling this was a little weird I decided I should go investigate. I walked down to the door he had entered. I knocked and got no response. I tried the door, and it was unlocked.
As I opened the door the room was being used as storage for beds. The entire room was full of beds. There was no one
