A lot of times they just believe they are living there normal lives before passing and you are the intruder. If I can be of anymore assistance please let me know. You may burn sage and bless each room but be sure to leave at least one pathway open for them to escape and push them near that exit.

I lived on Fort Benning for over twelve years, the ghosts and other strange occurrences are pretty much harmless to everyone. Few times you will maybe see things that you will never want to repeat to another person just due to the fact it feels more like a dream, other things like toilets flushing on their own, televisions turning off and on, windows opening on their own, it is just really strange.
I can account for one thing that happened to me and a friend while camping out by Boughten Heights (Sorry if I misspelled that autocorrect got me), we attempted to light the campfire, using a Zippo lighter, there was no flame, until we looked up. There was nothing but empty space I would say 4 or 5 feet between the flame and the lighter, you were able to put your hand between the lighter and the flame without disrupting it. Just sad I never have a camera when things like that happen.
As I stated before, weird not harmful things happen, just interesting stories to share. In Battle Park you can find arrowheads all over the ground if you look hard enough. Happy hunting.
