It was dark outside and he said he saw a shadowing figure sitting on the bank at first he thought it was his imagination so he just sat there staring to make sure it was real he said he couldn't even move, and all he could see was a shadow and what appeared to be a cherry of a cigarette that would glow as if someone were taking a drag.
After about two minutes it vanished. I believe that this base is very haunted. I can feel the negative

and eerie energy all around. Everyone seems to hate this base and not one of us can explain why.

My husband and I recently moved to Fort Benning. The other night I was driving from Kelley Hill to Bouton Heights (where we live) because he was pulling a CQ at the barracks. It was about 10 pm and I seemed to be the only one driving on the road.
I had my brights on and I could swear I saw a woman with brown hair standing in the ditch next to the side of the road near where you turn into to go to Davis hill. I slowed down and looked again and no one was there.
