Comment by Daniel: Hi Constance how are you? I just sent an email to the Riverbend Motel and Cabins in Helen on 21 Jan. 2017. I did not mention your name. I asked if my group could conduct a paranormal investigation there one evening.
Comment by S: I had several paranormal experiences on the second floor of the Riverbend. All happened during one stay. Things were moved in the room. Lights turned on by themselves, and we saw one full body apparition. I have stayed again with no issues on the second floor center section. The apparition was on the 2nd floor but close to the office.

Comment by Daniel: Hi. Where exactly in Helen were the black eyed children seen? Did the paranormal group who observed them follow them?.
Comment by David: Elena has given us permission to explain the story details such as the location where the sighting happened. Her grandfather owns the house across from the huddle house in Helen. She was staying there for a weekend to spend time with her grandfather and help around the house / look over him due to him being sick.
She lives in Helen as well. On a Saturday night/Sunday morning somewhere around 2 am she recalled feeling restless and not being able to sleep. Elena decided to get on her phone until she became sleepy.
At around 2:45ish she heard people talking downstairs and she had gotten a little spooked. Elena didn't go downstairs. She thought maybe it was the TV. She recalled hiding under her cover. She admitted forcing herself to see if the TV was left on in the living room.
She checks and the TV was not on. Elena recalled thinking she was hearing things. Afterwards Elena recalled pouring orange juice and checking what the time was. It was approx. 3 am. She recalled jumping after she had heard a loud thump at the door.
And another thump and another. She looked out the window and there were 3 kids. She opened the door and asked if everything was okay. They said not one single word. She recalled getting an overwhelming feeling of sadness.
Two of the kids had 'gray French looking hats' on. One of the kids looked her in the eye and she recalled the child's whole eye being black.. The child's face turned gray. She screamed and shut the door then ran upstairs.
She woke her grandfather and told him everything but he was hesitant to believe any of her story. She went back to her house reluctantly Sunday evening. She was afraid to leave her grandfather alone.
She has done tons of research on the house. She couldn't find out much about who used to live there. That's when she started to look on the paranormal side of things and went on forums. She explained her story on a ghost forum and every single comment featured the black eyed children phenomena.
She contacted our paranormal team on a Wednesday. She seemed super distraught about what happened. Even I was skeptical at first until we met her in person and got the full story/saw her body language.
