There is a house if it's still there. It was on a hill just below the town landfill. It and the one beside it are built out of concrete blocks. My family and I lived in the one with the garage/basement that was underneath the house. Something bad happened in this house. That's all I'll say about it. Something really bad. We lived there for a year. I think it was. The garage is haunted by something. It's true.
We would be sleeping at night and awakened

by the garage doors being slammed back and forth like someone or something wanting in or out. We would hear footsteps running up the stairs from the garage/basement

as well as the rattling sound of the doorknob as if someone was trying to get in to where we were. My mom put a large chest of drawers in front of that door just in case whatever it was actually got the door open.
We moved about a year later. Anyone from this area ever lived there or heard anything about this house being haunted?.
