What about the witch they burned in the1800s Etheridge Farm.

I live in Jefferson, a town 20 minutes south of Athens. I started having sounds in my house that would alert my dogs but I myself couldn't locate. Then I started hearing a little girl calling for her mommy.
This scared me and I immediately went to my doctors and found that it wasn't me... There was something in my house. I called it out one night to show itself and she did! She looked like she came out of the 1800's her clothes were dated to that era.

The next night she called out to her mommy and my husband heard it this time. We decided to get a tap recorder and record during the night to catch her. We currently have her on tap 5 times. Several times she is laughing and others she is making noises that a little child would make if they were playing.

I have researched the history of my land and found that there was once a school house here in the late 1800's. We are really close to the Ethridge/Shield Farms in Jefferson.

Comment by Daniel: Well you stated that in the 1800's there was a school where your house is now. It could be that the little girl is a residual spirit. Meaning she probably went to school there and one day was waiting on her mother and her mother never showed or possibly her and her mother were somehow separated and she is trying to find her mother.
