My daughter who is 16 has always said she talks to ghosts in our house. She went on an extended trip and this ghost has been acting up, we think, out of anger or just because he misses her. The night before she left, she, and two friends claim to have seen a shadow move from my office toward the front door.
Then, on Friday night, the 7' mirror plastered to my daughter's bathroom wall came down, blasting glass everywhere. Saturday night, the curtain rod on our front window was torn down (it's up high, I'm 6' 2'' and I can't reach it) and stretched across the room 10 feet away from the window.
And finally yesterday, I heard the front door open and footsteps on the wooden foyer... But nobody was there. I was in the house alone. I promptly left and went to a bar. (no I had not been drinking at home) I'm attaching a picture of the way we found the curtain rod.

Hi Damon. I read your post. The mirror in your daughter's room could have just fallen in reference to weak structuring of the screws or nails used or the dry wall. The curtain and curtain rod that fell did the curtain rod holder detach from the wall too? Do you have a cat or dog.
