Ludowici, GA it was late and we were all about to go to sleep when we heard voices coming out of thin air. It was a male and female; we couldn't make out what they were saying; you could just here the whispers. We caught it on camera. Since then we haven't heard much of anything, but it was pretty creepy that night. I have been trying to look stuff up to verify what happened, but there is nothing it is really scary. Some nights I can't sleep wondering if something will harm us.

Chapman Lake is located on a far off logging road behind the newly built high school. Personally, I go there a lot to fish and nobody bothers you except the bugs. Last night May, 26th 2014 three male adults ages 28-36 were fishing starting at dusk (around 08:15pm) like many many other evenings before. Drinking some cold bud light and talking about how the road getting there was getting bad due to logging in the area a mile or so down the road.

We like to call this lake a slew because that's what it pretty much is there is a lot of alligators in it at all times. There is little road inlet where side by sides or 4 wheelers can go in. That's where I always park the truck in front of entrance, so nobody can come down while we are fishing. All 3 of us decided to have one stay, and 2 walk around the lake to move gators down to other end of slew away from use fishing. All of us had side arms and always loaded to go to war. We all had flash lights and liquid courage. During our walk I got not lost but went into wrong direction walking through some thick woods to other end lake. I found myself in the area well known. During this time we kept in contact by talking with our buddy who stayed on the other side. We set ourselves to have him walk down towards us pushing all wildlife and or gators our way. A lot of young ones were present that night.
That's when something happened that of many nights I have been there never experienced. A scream that seemed like someone was getting murdered a female almost like something you would hear in a Halloween haunted tour. It was not a short scream but a 5-to-10 second long scream. It seemed to have come from our lone ranger buddy who took the liberty to run towards us not wanted to look back. Not saying anything but looking into each other's eyes, he told us to get the out of here. I have not talked with the guys about last night. No one was saying anything about our experience coming home. I still need to go out and get our fishing poles. My buddies just showed up talking about panthers perhaps... Bigfoot. That's my story.
