In late June 2009 my daughter came from out of state for a visit. I took her to see the local sights of Cobb County. We visited the museum in Marietta located at the Kennesaw House adjacent to the railroad tracks. We were standing in the room in what I believe was the northwest corner of the building when my daughter told me the building was vibrating. I looked at her kind of funny when she said that, and she said ''daddy take off your shoes, and you
can feel it.''
We were the only ones in the room, so I took of my shoes and could feel that there was clearly a vibration in the floor. The vibration
was very strong. I could apparently not feel it when I had my shoes on, but my daughter was wearing lighter women's shoes and could pick up on it. I tried to figure it out but could come up with no explanation. We were at the museum for a while afterwards, but no train came down the track which would account for the vibration. All I can say for sure is that the floor was clearly vibrating. Submitted by Ted
