In Marietta, GA off Atlanta Rd near the square my sisters had a bedroom in middle of house. The closet door was kept open we could see when turned off lights for bed a white glowing orb about size of baseball up in right side of closet near the top shelf but higher inside.
We tried to find out what was perhaps reflecting a light but couldn't.
We adjusted the window curtains and there was no street lights or anything that could be causing this. This happened for a few months. We would shut the closet door and it would not be showing on the door so it was inside closet.
The house was built in 1938. We were always scared even though we were in our late teens. Finally it left and we never saw it again but it did scare us. My mother could never figure it out. We have not forgotten this all these years. My sister owns the house but hasn't seen it again. We were from Dalton.

Does anyone know about the ghosts (a bearded man and a young boy) that have spooked employees at the Marietta Ice Center (ice skating rink) for years in East Cobb? I have heard a twister touched down and killed several people, also it is on land that used to be an airstrip (Parkaire Landing) until the late 60s and that there may have been a small aircraft crash that killed a couple of people...

Comment by Sleepy: I didn't hear anything about the aircraft, but what I heard was that two brothers had killed one another. One killed the other at the MIC. It's been confirmed by multiple people that at night you can hear someone on the ice even though no one is there.
