Many years ago in the location now occupied by the Southlake Mall an unsolved murder took place. A young woman was found strangled to death and it was forensically determined that the crime had been committed on site by two people.
One female and one male based on evidence found at the scene. The murderers were never found however and people kept seeing a ghost matching the description of the young woman for years. Then they built the mall and

there were some strange paranormal things going on during the construction.
I would not be surprised if this woman still haunts the mall.
