Several years ago I moved into a rental home in Pine Mountain, Georgia. I was drawn to the house from the moment I saw it. During the years many unusual things occurred there. Family members reported electrical disturbances and footsteps overhead when nobody was there. Motion detectors would go off when I was not home. The monitoring company would contact me to let me know there was motion in the hallway, but nobody was home, and there were no pets in

the house. This happened several times. During the night, I would occasionally hear the sound of windows being locked and unlocked in the kitchen.

an occasion, a friend of my grown child was unable to open the door of a bedroom in which he was sleeping. He pulled the pins out of the door and still it would not open. The door had no lock on it, so we were mystified. He thought his friends were playing jokes on him and crawled out of a window, walked around to the rear deck and let himself in through the back door. He used the bathroom and noticed his friends were fast asleep. As he walked back to
