I was raised in Poulan. When I was a little boy I have always heard the story of Dr. Sutton. I was told that Dr. Sutton discovered that he was sick and decided to end his life by jumping in front of a train. This happened near an old bridge. The bridge is known as the overhead pass or Dr. Sutton Bridge. The legend is that it is haunted.
One night when my brother and I were much younger, we went under Dr. Sutton Bridge and sat and talked for a while.

When we got ready to leave, he said something had his leg. He yelled for help. I thought he was just joking around because I didn't see anyone. I realized

that he was serious and pulled his arm with all my might. Something really was pulling him in the opposite direction. Finally he broke free, and we ran back to the top of the bridge. We got in my car and left Dr. Sutton Bridge. We haven't been back at night!.
