I grew up in a house on Cook Road and saw some scary stuff when I was a child! This house was knocked down, and I believe there is a neighborhood there now. Curious if anyone else has problems on that land?? Thanks.

My family lived in a house on Macedonia Road in Powder Springs, GA back in the early 70s. I was a baby. My mother never told me about any paranormal activities in this house until many years later, when I was 12 years old. My father needed brain surgery, and we were then living in South Georgia. He had to go to Atlanta for him to have surgery. When we lived in the house, apparently the discomfort made my father move us into the house across the street, so when a new family moved in it, we became friends. When we went for his surgery, all our old neighbors still lived there. I chose to stay with their daughter in our old house. I noticed a spot in the hallway leading to the bedrooms that was frigid cold ALL the time. Bone chilling in fact.

That night, the daughter and I went to bed and fell asleep. It was no time before I was awakened abruptly by someone covering my mouth and nose, so I couldn't breathe. I gasped and sat straight up. I could see in the moonlight from the window; she was sound asleep, and I figured it was a bad dream. I lay back on the bed again. Only this time it grabbed my face again, and I wasn't asleep. I'll never forget it. I told my mother as soon as we got back home, and that is when she told me about seeing apparitions, hearing voices, and how the current owners were expecting a baby when they moved in. She was almost due to deliver, baby was well, pregnancy was fine, but after moving in, her baby was born with over 100 birth defects. I have since been told that the last three men that lived there, including my dad, all developed brain cancer. I know something evil is there. I'm sure of it.

In March 2006 my mom, dad, sister, and I moved into this house in Powder Springs. When you look at the house you do not see anything wrong with it, but when you go inside you have a feeling of being unsettled because that was how I felt. When we were moving in I did not even want to go upstairs. I was about four or five years old at the time. Most kids would not want to sleep in their room because they do not want to be alone, but I did not want to be in my room because it was freezing cold. It was the only cold spot in the house. Even with the heat on it was cold.
