Back in 1998 south of Coosa. You turn left off the Ala. Highway onto a road that I used to go to run on. One day in the hot summer I stopped my Cuda at a little iron rail bridge just past a tiny church with an old graveyard out back and walked down a sloping trail to the stream for a quick swim.

After I got out I heard voices, I thought someone was up on the road so I go up and there is no one up there. You can see both ways for a distance. So I knew there hadn't been anyone up there, besides you could hear a car coming from a distance anyway.

I go back under the bridge and immediately begin to hear people talking again. This time I listen more carefully because I now know it isn't coming from the road, so I walk lowly under the bridge and stopped when I saw what I can only describe as three vaporish like human figures appearing to float over the stream. I knew then that what I was seeing was spirits.
I left and have never been back there since. I don't know if anyone else has experienced similar encounter there or not but it happened to me....

Comment by Gayle: You were probably near the narrows which has had some ghost activity that I have heard of. A family member lives in a house near there. There was also an Indian battle and a Civil War battle near there. Look for the Narrows in Weird Georgia.
