When I was about 6 years old we lived on a dirt road, and we would go walking the dirt road with the neighbor kids. There was this one abandoned trailer that was unlivable that we would walk by, and the neighbor kids stated that they saw a ghost through the windows one day.
Well, time passed and neighbors visited. While my aunts were visiting with one of the neighbors I overheard them talking about the single mom at the end of the road that had a son and daughter. Well, I guess when the kids got off the bus while their mom was away at work or something. They went inside. I guess the mom kept her Bible on her bed, but the son went back to his mom's room and saw a white figure with long flowing hair knelt down and praying against her bed.

Then it wasn't scary because I didn't know if it was true or not. However, as a kid it made me not want to be at home alone. Well, I'm horrible at telling stories, but this part should have been first. The house we moved into on that dirt road was once a section of a mansion that the landlord rented it out to my parents. His name was Mr. Lumar. When we first moved in and while my mom was cleaning and getting it ready she saw something in the back of the house. I recall hearing her tell my dad about it. Mind you, parent did like to party, so everyone even themselves doubted themselves.

As time went on one evening my little brother woke us all up with a blood curdling scream. I just remember my mom running to his room at the front of the house to sooth him. I remember that he didn't ever really spend time in his room after that. A little more time went by, and our parents were across the street to visit with neighbors. Well. My little brother and I were at home by ourselves in the front of the house in the living room playing the Nintendo. We had the volume on enjoying our game, and my brother asked ''did you hear that?'' I paused the game to listen but didn't hear anything, so I went back to playing the game. Then I thought I heard a bump, so I paused it to listen. I heard nothing again. Then I heard like three bumps, so I paused it but heard nothing again. Then I heard what sound like heavy boots walking from the back of the house on the wooden floor to the living room where we were. Needless to say, we ran out the front door across the street screaming.
This is where it gets good. More time went by and momma and dad let a friend move in to the yard in a camper. His name was Jimbob. He also liked to party. Well, I guess he had witnessed something and tried to tell my parents about and they didn't believe him before this happened. It was almost bedtime in the cold months because mom and dad had the wood-burning stove going in the den that was between the kitchen and living room that was separated by French doors that opened into the living room.
Jimbob was sitting on the couch in the living room. I remember hearing a TV, so I assumed they were listening to music. I don't remember my little brother standing with me, my mom, or dad by the stove either. He might have already been asleep. All a sudden I heard Jimbob yell ''Dave! (my dad's name) Ghost!'' I looked into the living room through the French doors and saw this figure of a human made of a cloud that had no feet. I think it's was man. It was the kind of aura that I felt from it. It had long flowing hair, and the hair was literally flowing like it was in water. It had a long trench coat on, and everything was very detailed. It was as if it was alive but in the image of a cloud.
