It was a long time ago, but there's a house on the corner of Cherokee and Kingston Roads where my childhood best friend used to live. He lived there with his parents and his little sister. We were best friends from first grade until about fourth. Once when we were both in third grade, we had a sleepover at his house. We were planning to pull an all-nighter, so we stockpiled all our junk food and all our sodas in his room. We got a bunch of movies, hooked

up his PS2, and got started.
We had a fun night of video games and movies. Then it got late, so we started telling ghost stories, which as kids,

we all remembered would make your legs go weak whether they were real or not. As we were telling these ghost stories, I and my friend heard noises coming from his kitchen and hallway. We brushed it off like we weren't scared out of our minds. We made the excuse that it was just one of his cats causing a stir. Eventually the all-nighter ended around 1 o'clock. (We were lame kids. ) Then we decided to go to bed.
