Well this is about the hauntings of north side (Thomaston) I know all this because I'm writing small paper book on this all that I'm telling you here is true. Done all the research. I lived in this area all my life. On Jeff Davis Road there is an old plantation house. That was my old house. Ok the house we are talking about is Dr. Hannah's old plantation house. The corn mill in front of it on the curve had been built by slaves, including the

old wall at 10 mile creek all the fields that were planted. And if you did not know, the railroad used to run parallel to old Alabama Road during the

1800s. The old Alabama Road is also the connection road to the famous trail of tears. Lots of deaths there with Indians after the white man who took the land. And also when you turn on old Alabama Road, and if you turn into the trailer Park, look to your right the old huge oak tree to the edge of the brush near the road that was the county hanging tree.
The old single jail is located on Jeff Davis Road above the bridge still standing today. This was
