The next night my daughters went to a night club on the river in Savannah. My son and I -- not wanting to be in the hotel alone waited in the lot by the waving girl statue. I read the waving girl statue can be seen waving her handkerchief -- I saw her handkerchief and dress completely blowing in the wind.
We weren't scared of it though. Very mysterious place tybee is. Don't think we'll ever make it back though.

Maybe I'm losing my scruples or common sense but I have also heard whispering by a bedroom window while spending time on Tybee Island. However I was not in a rental house. The whispers I heard were women and they were discussing fashion.
This was around 3:00 am and when I went to check there was nobody around. I have not heard footsteps or children whispering but doors lock and unlock all by themselves. Wow... I love Tybee Island and it's a great place to spend time but it can also be very spooky.
