I have recently visited Tybee Island, Georgia. It was the first week in November of 2008. I was there in a beach house for three days and nights. It's still just as beautiful as I remembered it to be. I have not heard any recent reports about the ghost girl. But I did notice some strange activity among the sea birds on Tybee Island. A dear friend and I were walking on the pavilion out over the ocean one morning, and suddenly a large swarm of boat-tail

grackles appeared out of nowhere and flew less than a foot over our heads. It was very interesting experience. Suddenly one of the hand rails on the
|
pavilion was covered in sea gulls next to us. And I had one of the boat-tailed grackles walk up next to me on a hand rail showing no fear at all.
I have been told that in the 1950's and 1960's there was once a large skating rink built out over the ocean where the pavilion is now located, and people have heard the ghostly sounds of roller skates. Has anyone else heard about the ghostly roller skates? .
