As a child in the 80s my great grandmother would tell me and my cousins about a nursing home that she worked at when she was much younger. She would tell us that she saw ghosts on several occasions. At the time we thought she was just trying to scare us.
Fast forward to 1996, I was in my late teens and decided to move in with one of my best friends that had just moved in to a building that was being converted in to apartments. We were looking into

the windows of the wing of the building that had not yet been renovated and saw old antique looking wheel chairs and hospital beds.
My friend's

cousin and girlfriend moved in down the hall from our apartment. One night she and I were preparing dinner, and her cousin and his girlfriend came running down the hall beating on our door. They had been lying in bed watching TV when an elderly looking woman walked across their room and disappeared. We got them calmed down, and they went back to their apartment.
A week later they saw her again standing in their kitchen. Well, time went by. Neither
