Years ago my family ran Melody Lake's grocery store. I was about 14 years old, and I'm 60 now. It was a Friday night. I got off of work around 8:30 p.m. and told my parents I was going by some friend's house. I left the store walking the road right behind the graveyard. As I was walking, I could hear something walking alongside me in the woods. I would stop walking, and the thing in the woods would take a step or two and stop. I started walking faster, so did

it. Before I knew it, I was running as fast as I could go, and so was it. I ran all the way to my friend's house. The whole time I thought something was

going to grab me by the back of my neck. I've never been so scared in my life. I knocked on my friend's door, and my friends opened the door and let me in. They asked me why I was upset and white as a ghost. I told them what had just happened. Everybody said I was crazy.
Well, about a month later we were at my friend's house again. It was pretty late. My friend's mom came home and ran all of us off. She told us to go home. My friend Jeff and I
