Forty years ago my friend was telling me that there was ghost locomotive that ran on the railroad by West Highway 84 on New Year's Eve at midnight every year. I said ''nah, there is no ghost. '' I joined him, and it was four boys and one girl in the car. The weather was perfectly calm and very cold with bright moonlight and not even a cloud. left turn on any block that would lead us to the railroad. We parked on a dirt road beside the railroad. There were just three minutes left before the

ghostly locomotive would appear. We decided to stay in the car because it was so cold. We waited around and one of our friends hollered ''there is small light over there!'' Sure enough, I saw the light right above the railroad. It looked like real locomotive light, so I waited for the light to come close by where we were.
I saw the light that flew by us. What I saw was a light that looked like an old fashion lamp. It was like a light lid inside
