One things for certain. That if you drive through Whitesburg, stay a night there, or even live there as I have you will always feel uneasy. I lived in Whitesburg for 3 years and every night when the train nearby would pass I would hear footsteps on the roof.
And every time we drove through the middle of town it always seemed so abandoned which made the town feel even more like it was haunted.

I lived in Whitesburg for 13 years I can tell you that things really happen there. Water turning on in the middle of the night. Sounds of people walking down the hall. Lots of scary things.
