I use to live on south Meridian Street for 49 years. We had paranormal activity in that house since 1966 after my dad passed away (November 12) of that year. Someone would come and knock on the wooden door even though there was a storm door before the wooden one.
It use to give my Mama the willies. After she passed away November 12 2009 two weeks later I know I locked the back door but someone barefoot walked up the two steps and called my name.

It was my Mama's voice and we did bury her barefoot.
Since then I sometime heard her whisper-like voice speak to me. I've smelled her perfume in the

house. The door to my bedroom has opened by itself at times. Since November 21 2011 I've lived on East Jefferson Street, I've experienced a few strange occurrences here.
Maybe her spirit followed me here I don't know.

Comment by JENNY LEE WAX: We lived in the Gregg Hamilton house when I was somewhere between 2-1 / 2 and 4-1/2. Nobody believes me but I saw some wonderful spirits (had to have been) at night that were all colors. The room was thick with them...
Circles about a foot in diameter. Also there were some times I remember falling backwards off the steps in the back of the house (would have been the 2nd floor) and a very sweet black lady reached down and caught me....
Just a couple of incidents. Bettye... Would we know each other? I'm 64 now and lord knows if this post will ever get to you but it would be so neat if it does.
