I was about twelve years old a friend and I were walking through the woods down a creek bank off of county road 256 when the two of us sighted a man walking up a hill beside us dressed in Confederate attire carrying a long stick like object.
He seemed to be lost and looking for someone or something. My friend called out to me and as soon as he spoke the man disappeared. The both of us hightailed it out of there.

Comment by anonymous: I think I have seen this too. I'm not from around there so I don't know what the name of the exact road was but we saw a Confederate soldier.
