I was about 10 years old living in the Shady Oak District in Jackson, Mississippi. My mother, little brother, and I were in the den watching TV one day, and I decided to go upstairs to my bedroom and watch something else. While sitting at end of the bed I felt movement behind me, so I turned around, and there sat my little brother not saying anything just staring and smiling. I remember telling him stop looking at me like that, but he continued still

not saying anything, so I told him ''I'm going to do something to you!'' Then it looked like he smiled bigger now. I was spooked, so I got up and walked

downstairs. Guess who was there? My mom and little brother where I left them, so who was that in the room with me. I am 50 years old now and still don't know and don't want to know.

At the train bridge across Pearl River is a haunting that you can see for yourself if you have the inclination to do so. You go down to the riverbank under the bridge and look up at the bridge. When a train passes you can see a shadow outline of a person falling from the bridge. It is not known for sure who this ghost is but it is believed to be the ghost of a hobo who was killed there decades ago when he jumped out of the way of an oncoming train. It wasn't the train that killed him but the fall from the bridge.
