At the West Main Street railroad crossing is a gas station. Between the gas station and the railroad tracks is a big tree. That tree is haunted by a man who died long ago in the spot where the tree is.|
His blood soaked into the ground and was sucked up by the roots of the tree and now his spirit lives in the tree. If you stare at the tree long enough you can sometimes make out an apparition moving around in the tree.
The best way to see him is to
actually climb the tree, but some of us including myself are not fit enough to do that so we'll have to settle for watching the tree from the ground.
But I'll tell you if I was 30 years younger I'd be up in that tree.|
