My husband and I were travelling throughout Mississippi and decided we should stay in Natchez. We came upon the beautiful Eola hotel and decided to check in. As soon as we walked into our rather small room I made eye contact with an older man that came right out of the mid 1900s.

He was standing in the corner of our room. He did recognize that I actually saw him. I did not want to upset my husband for he did not see this apparition so I went into the bathroom and had a quick chat with this fellow.

I told him that yes I did recognize he was there and I did not want to see or know from him. I told him to make himself scarce. I did not see him again that night but felt very unsettled. We checked out the next night.

I just checked out of the Eola Hotel this morning. I stayed in room 710 and was never able to shake a feeling of nervousness and fear the entire time I was in my room. I'm going to start at the beginning....
