On Pocahontas Street there is a white two story house across from the train depot. I saw a little girl with straight blonde hair standing at one of the windows on the north side of the house. Many months later my husband's family was discussing the death of the people in that house.
The hair all over my body stood up when he brought up a little girls death.

While riding down highway 35 coming past the bait shop heading towards Sardis lake my husband, cousin, and I saw a man standing on the side of the road wearing a green shirt with suspenders.. He appeared to be carrying a bag with human body in it.
We believe it was a ghost because at first we saw him then turned around and went back and he was gone. This sent a chill down my spine.

Comment by Lacey: I am the girl who posted the sighting about the man by the bait shop. I need to clarify myself! First he was there by the bait shop when we turned around he was gone. And we turned around again; he was back but a little ways down the road!.
