I'm sure you've all heard the stories of the boy that hung himself on a tree that hangs across old Salem Road. It is said that if you stop your car under the tree, turn it off, and get out and get back in, your car won't start back up until you push it from under the tree. Me and my friends laughed about it at the time and decided we'd try it. It was about 11:30 at night, and we stopped under the tree and turned the car off. As soon as we stepped out of

the car noises were coming from the near by cemetery. They were children laughing, dogs barking, and old lady yelling. We then opened the doors to the

car to find them locked for about 5 minutes. We pushed the car from under the tree, and the hazards came on. Our doors unlocked, and the car started back up. Absolutely do not recommend trying this. We haven't gone back since.

We visited the cemetery to see if any of the stories were true, and as we were walking through, we could smell a foul odor as if there was possibly a dead animal. We could feel a pressure in the air. All of a sudden we heard kids playing. Then it stopped, and a lady screamed. We decided to leave. As we were walking out, a dog was pacing and growling in front of the first rows of graves. We scared him off, but he wouldn't go past the first row of graves. The next day my son had a long scratch down his ribs. I took a picture, and behind him it said a curse across the bottom of the TV. If that wasn't freaky enough, my 2-year-old was talking to the woods, and he said he was talking to Tommie his friend. Come to find out there was a child buried there named Tommie.
