When I moved in with my husband after we were married a woman that ''lived'' there was not happy. A Victorian era dressed lady would walk through the house turning off lights I had just turned on. We rented a house on S. Montgomery in Starkville for 8 months. We had so many strange occurrences. We heard music coming from upstairs and assumed it was a cell phone ringing, but there was absolutely no phone, radio or any device upstairs that would make any sound or music.
My daughter heard whistling and I told her it was probably the wind and not to be afraid, then within 10 minutes I heard it too... It was not wind, it was a tune and was inside the house and no one was there but the two of us and my youngest daughter who could not yet whistle.
There was doors that would close and lock with no one in there.. Wet footprints that led to our door on the porch and then none leading away... It was too much for us to take. We no longer live there.
