I am born and raised in Brookhaven ms, all of my sisters and brothers use to go to Hazlehurst ms to visit our grand mother and on the way back we would stop in Wesson ms to visit our great aunt and uncle Wallace and aunt millie, my mom always told the story of roudie and true boy two dogs of mines.
They were two ghost dogs from way back who protected their owner who was bound and tied and robbed of all of his earthly possession, but on his call of his

dogs roudie and true boy who was in the woods at that time hunting, heard his cries and the calling of their names.
They hauled it home just in time
|
to attack the robbers and to wound them and make them drop their old masters possession which included quite a bit of old gold and precious possesions. After the Ruthless robbers was severely attacked as they hobbled of into the woods never to return, the two dogs went promptly back to their master and chewed off the ropes that bound the old mans hands and feet his two best friends licked his bruises.
And they lived happily ever after. However
