My family and I moved into a rental house on Pleasant Grove Road in Bluff City. I was attending high school at Sullivan East at the time, so we were excited about the location. I was especially excited because it would mean I could sleep later with the closer commute. Upon moving in, my family and I never believed in the paranormal, and although I love all things horror and the unexplained, I never truly believed in it.

started to notice little things. First, we would wake up in the morning, and all of the kitchen cabinets would be wide open. We blamed it on my mischievous

little brother as he was always pranking and doing typical little boy things. Doors would open, shut, and even slam by themselves. We blamed it on the air circulation in the house. We would lose things. We would lay them somewhere, and they wouldn't be where we left then. Sometimes we wouldn't find them for several days, and they would later be found in the most obscure places that we would never lay them. We wrote it off as being ''crazy'' and forgetful.
