I took a photo on the parking area right before you cross Butler Bridge. There is a man on a white horse in my photo that was not there when I made the photo.

I'm 19 years old now. When I was a little girl I'd always see things and hear things. I've lived in the Butler TN area my whole life. I've always written down what I've seen. Most don't believe me about one story. It started when I was a child. I used to see this tall dark black figure everywhere I went. It would actually wait for me to come outside. I'd always go to the place it stood and see if it was there, and sure enough it was. Now as I was a child I didn't pay much attention. My friends would see it too. I was interested in it unlike anyone else. It never got too close, and it never harmed me. As I started getting older I stopped seeing these things. Yes, there was more than one I saw and heard.

Anyway I got older and stopped seeing it, but I could always feel its presence. I knew it was always there. My friends would see it. I knew it wasn't some ''prank'' because I never told them about it. I'd ask about what they saw. They would explain the figure perfectly. This ''figure'' as I call it seemed as if it wanted me to know it was still there, but as if it couldn't get too close. I finally played with a Ouija board, and it told me it wanted to ''posses'' me but couldn't because something was protecting me.

I prayed and prayed for whatever it was to keep protecting me. This was about I'd say two years ago or over. I hadn't had anymore encounters with this thing until a friend came over. He went outside and came back in scared to death. I asked ''what happened? Are you okay?'' His answer quickly made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I cried to my husband as he told my friend just to not say anything more. My friend had said he went outside and was just standing there smoking looked up and saw a ''tall black figure.'' I asked ''did it have a face?'' He said ''no.'' Then I asked ''did it have long long arms?'' My friend said ''yes.'' I asked ''all black? '' He replied ''yes.'' I stopped him in tears and said ''that's the thing I've been seeing since I was little.'' Many of my other friends have al so seen it too. I still have friends who see it outside my house. I still feel it around me.

My mom and dad use to live in a real haunted house. They always referred to the house as the gastian Shaw house. The man was married and his wife was ill and my dad's sister Irene use to stay there and take care of her.
