my mind to think that a train came by right after we saw the light. None of us had heard a train coming or felt the vibrations on the tracks. The light in Chapel Hill is very real. If you think everyone is crazy, go see it for yourself. Just don't get run over by the train that follows behind it.

I went out to Feedmill last night with a few friends. We parked a little ways from the track and walked up to it and stood on it for about 15-20 minuets. We did walk a short distance down the way the electrical box goes. We didn't see much. This goes around except at one point three of us saw what looked like someone run across the tracks with a lantern all the way towards the other end (near the red lights.) We saw what looked like cars coming, so we went back to the car and drove around. This time we parked the car on the tracks, and there was a light that wasn't there before.
Unlike the stories I've read, it was a green light. It did seem to be coming closer, but it didn't seem right to me. As soon as my end was off the tracks this green light disappeared, and when I stopped it came back, and we all saw it. Honestly, I was very disappointed because I've been wanting to see this since 8th grade when my English teacher told me the story.
