My family and I visited Chattanooga for a weekend trip when our daughters were 4 and 8. On our way out of town on a overcast Monday morning we decided to ride the incline railway up to the top of Lookout Mountain. We walked over to Point Park. From the minute we walked in we knew we weren't alone although we were the only people there. As we walked around reading the plaques describing the battles a profound feeling of sadness was evident.

My husband who never believed in ghosts told me later that some of the ''fog'' we walked through was cold and not fog. On our way out he and the girls were talking pictures and I saw a man wave to me and tip his hat.

No one saw a man but me. I truly believe the park is haunted, but not in a bad way. The many soldiers that died there just wanted us to know they were there. Submitted by Jan

When I was real young probably before kindergarten maybe early Elementary School age my mom moved out to Chattanooga Tennessee since she had family there. I still lived back in California with my dad as they divorced. On one summer vacation we took a plane to visit my mother over the month break from school. During that month in Chattanooga Tennessee I had some of the most vivid and scary experiences I will remember for the rest of my life.
