I was born in Cleveland, Tennessee. I spent the first six years of my life there. I remember two different places we lived. The last place I lived was in a house that had the airport runway right in the backyard. The house was white and was by itself at the end of a gravel road. I remember at night you could hear someone walking through the hallway from the bathroom. It sounded as if they had a limp or was dragging one of their feet. The sound would

continue on through the dining room, on through the kitchen, and in to the sunroom. Then it just stopped.
The first time we heard it my sister

was asleep in my dad's chair. She heard the footsteps and jumped up thinking dad was home (dad was an OTR truck driver. ) When she looked no one was there, so she screamed and woke us all up. Mom thought she saw something going out through the sunroom and ran to see what was there. She could not find anything. This continued on most nights if anyone were up late in the living room watching TV, or if company was there. We lived there I think maybe about two years.
