Comment by Robert: There was much horrible fighting in Franklin, Thompsons Station, Spring Hill, and so forth during the American Civil War. My great grandfather fought there, and his life was personally saved by Gen. Nathan Forrest. However, the general's favorite horse was killed. The Carnton Plantation is probably the most haunted place in Tenn. Pray that the tormented souls of these soldiers will find rest on this blood soaked soil. Be not afraid of them.

One day at my house in Franklin this is going to sound stupid but it's totally real. My house is right off the square so it's really old but to the story it was about 3 in the morning (the devils hour) I had to go to the bathroom and I walked in and a faint ghost of a Confederate soldier was sitting on the toilet but after a few seconds he vanished.

In my house TV's turn off and on doors open and close pictures and other articles fly off walls. I see a short dark haired woman. As she comes closer I feel cold. She is never present long enough to take a picture.
