In 1985 I was visiting my cousin in Kingsport. I'm from Michigan. We snuck out to go to a party, and in the pitch darkness a ghost that appeared in front of us on Jersey Street off Ridgecrest floated right in front of us. It looked like a king. We never said a word. We looked at each other and turned. Then we ran almost all the way home before we both described what we saw. It was an identical description of a king. The funny part was the neighbor's
dog had followed us, and his name was King. We still talk about it from time to time.|

I live here and there are only 2 possible places ghosts are. The Netherland Inn and the tunnel. But otherwise Kingsport is ghost-free.

Comment by Thebunker: Haha really Rosie ? You know positively that no other ghost are in Kingsport? That's a very bold statement anytime you want to see some ''spiritual activity'' you just let me know.
Comment by local for life: Are you kidding? 2 ghosts ??? Why go to Scotland or England or Gettysburg etc when there are so many (100? ) credible ghost stories in Kingsport that I know of? Forget Rotherwood, The Tunnels, and Netherland Inn.
