There are a lot more than just the few stories I have told that has happened in Petersburg. Petersburg is a very old town with a lot of history. My sisters and I called Petersburg the Ghost Town because when it starts to turn dark and you come driving into Petersburg all you can see is fog. I loved growing up there and miss this place very much. I believe that the whole town of Petersburg is haunted.

The nice little walk bridge at Rock Creek Park has something weird going on. If you go there you can see glimpses of misty silhouettes there under the bridge. If you go out on the bridge and look down you can see rough outlines of faces that look at you.

I am fascinated by this but I can see how some people might get really scared of this especially kids. I don't think it's anything dangerous but you never know. Better be safe than sorry. Don't engage these spirits unless you know what you are doing.
