I own a property that has had a man die it in. His nickname was Chief. To this day we hear bottles rattle, our restroom door will open and close on it's own even when locked. We hear our cooler door open and we can see someone looking around the corners at us at times.

I was fishing down at the river below the dam when a young man came up to me and asked me how the fishing was. I told him it alright. Then he said when I used to fish here there was no dam yet. Then I'm thinking yeah right.

This guy looks about mid 20s and the dam's been here for a hell of a lot longer than that. So I was going to make a joke about him being in his hundred-and-twenties but before I opened my mouth he was gone without a trace.

He just disappeared like he was never there. That's when I knew that this guy was a ghost. This was his fishing spot before the dam.
